After a long search and many conversations with Grand- and International Masters from all over the world, Inventi has succeeded in putting together a well balanced field of players for their Grandmastertournament. The tournament will be categorized in cat. 16, which means an average ELO-rating of +2625. It has been over 30 years since a Tournament of this level was organized in Belgium.

During the second edition of the CEO chess tournament, Thursday 2 April, Inventi gave the starting shot for InventiChess 2009. This fourth edition of InventiChess will take place 18 till 27 September. Inventi, a leading training and consultancy agency for sales and sales management, annually organizes employs this global chess happening to unite entrepreneurs and so emphasizing the many resemblances between chess, sales and entrepreneurship, making InventiChess a platform to make contacts with other managers and entrepreneurs.  So far, already 15 CEO’s have confirmed their participation in the second edition of the Inventi CEO-tournament. As for the networking, more than 40 Managers will be present at the event.
Amongst the guests, Belgium’s rising talent IM Bart Michiels and Holland’s best chess player in history GM Jan Timman will comment the games between the CEO’s.

After a successful first edition, Inventi organizes a second edition of their prestigious chess event in its offices on Thursday 2 April 2009, focusing entirely on the participation of CEO’s and managers. At the end of the first event, the 12 chess playing CEO’s and managers agreed on challenging each other three times a year and especially meeting one another during a chess tournament.
Besides our 12 loyal competitors we anticipate other CEO’s and managers taking on the challenge. Using the Swiss system, both experienced and less experienced competitors will be able to fulfill their expectations.
